Betilón querida, todos queridos: Según yo, lo de las matracas no era el jueves santo sino l jueves de corpus. A mí me fascinaba ir al mercadito. Nos daban diez pesos y rendían muchísimo. Yo también tuve una estufita, pero mi mamá era muy tiralona, Regalaba todo en cuanto veían que se nos pasaba la ilusión. y lo mismo hacía con ella. Aún nos da curiosidad qué habrá hecho con el candil del comedor cuando «nos cambió el gusto» y compró todo rústico. Todavía le lloramos a un comedor de marquetería que era precioso. Domingo en el que el pobre Jesucristo entró a la ciudad entre palmas y sonrisas… No se imaginó su suerte en tan sólo ocho días.

¿Dónde está CR?
Yo………….estoy de vacaciones todo el año y………………nunca.
De todas maneras se nota ya el ambiente de «fiesta» el pueblo (Hondarribía) se está llenando de turistas, sobre todo de coches aparcados. Al otro lado del río (Estado francés) las vacaciones empezaran el sábado ya que Jueves Santo y Viernes Santo suelen ser días laborables y es mucho más importante la segunda semana (Les vacances de Paques). Esta tarde iré a Saint Jean de Luz (Donibane Lohitzun) y ahí se notará una gran influencia de gentes de este lado y turistas de Madrid etc…
Cada vez que hago algún comentario en este blog, no dejo de pensar en las gentes que a principios del siglo XX emigraron a Argentina, Uruguay y la generación posterior a Chile, México etc……….Hacia los años 50 recuerdo la alegría de mi madre cuando recibía una carta de esas en papel de seda y sobre ribeteado de azul y rojo que ponía «por avión».y que le traía noticias de sus hermanos emigrados !tan jóvenes! y ahora…………………………. con la nueva tecnología……………. !epero !aquello tenía una gran emoción!
